A dear friend of mine inspired me to start taking morning walks. Her thing is 15 minutes a day. I was like, I can do that! So since mid summer I've been taking morning neighborhood walks most days unless I do another kind of exercise in the morning. I have come to look forward to these walks when I go to bed the night before! Sometimes it is the only time I leave the house for that day. Yes, that's right. Working at home at my jewelry bench often means I just stay at home all day! My morning walks might be the only time I actually put on a decent outfit and some jewelry. Like below when I wore my favorite sun hat and my amazing earrings from Seventh and Stone

Then I promptly change into stretchy shorts and take my bra off when I get home.

On these walks I rarely bring my phone. I don't have any nice photos of the adorable cacti I see, or my favorite houses, or the blossoming plants. I try to just notice what's around me without the urge to take a photo for some future instagram post. But this morning, I came across a sidewalk strewn with flowers from the Desert Willow tree. I gently gathered some and brought them home. Here they are with the latest pair of Pink Sapphire Hoops that are currently in the shop.
