If you’re one of my customers (or will be in the future!) who lives in the greater Tucson area and you have a little stack of Lumenrose gift boxes, you can recycle them back to me. As long as they’re in good condition I will give you a coupon code for 5% off my website or I’ll take 5% off your in-person purchase at a craft show. Here are the details:
  • If you’re local to the Tucson area, I’ll pick them up or you may stop by any of my  craft show events and drop them off and I'll give you a 5% discount code.

    It’s not a huge discount, I know. But here’s to taking the extra step to consume less and re-use more. Let’s try this and see how it goes.

    I really care about reducing waste by eliminating needless packaging frills and trying my darndest to shrink the amount of new items I purchase (in life and in jewelry). We are really running Mother Earth on empty- including pulling gorgeous pieces of turquoise and precious metals out of the ground (I know, ugh). This silversmith job is not inherently eco-friendly, but I want to keep improving my sustainability practices.

    All Lumenrose gift boxes are made of minimum 90% recycled content and tied with recycled hemp twine, cotton string, or upcycled sari silk.

    Orders come in a 100% recycled (and recyclable!) kraft paper mailer, or a white bubble mailer that can be RE-USED and is also recyclable. White bubble mailers have an extra adhesive strip for one more mailing. Perfect  for mailing your boxes back to me or for you to send your next package. At the end of their life you can also put these white bubble mailers into the plastic bag recycling collection bins at your local grocery store.

    That said, I hope you don't mind if you receive your order in a random upcycled outer envelope. I'm just keeping in line with my sustainability values and re-using a package once more. The inside gift box and jewelry will still be wrapped, still be special and of course perfectly presentable or giftable.
