This stone is so bright in real life! It is a very eye-catching pendant. There are natural pits in the stone, but these should not pose any problem, unless the stone is dropped face down on a hard surface or crushed--but this happening would potentially ruin any piece of turquoise, regardless of pitting. The bezel is 14k gold and the bail is also 14k gold that I reclaimed and milled from scraps. The bail is large enough to accommodate your own chain. The backplate behind the stone is sterling. It is hardly visible so this pendant does appear to be all gold when worn. Royston turquoise is from Nevada.
