Golden sunrays and diamond sun. This pendant may be tiny, but it has a lot of flash and shine. It is made from reclaimed gold I alloyed from 22k to 14k. Then I hammered and rolled it with a rolling mill into sheet and wire. It was a process. The small salt-n-pepper diamond is about .05 carats and has a whitish hue in some light and a grey hue in other light. See all the photos to get a better sense of it. Regarding the diamond's source, here is what the seller told me: "From mines in the Democratic Republic of Congo (Kimberley compliant) and polished at our certified fair trade factory in Surat, India."
This necklace is fabulous for layering, or perfect on its own. The chain is made of yellow gold plated stainless steel to keep the price point in consideration.
