This ring is made from scratch, so to speak. I melted reclaimed gold and casting grain into an ingot, then rolled it through a rolling mill again and again and again (and again) to form sheet. From there I cut it to the size of the band ad added the split detail. The band is soldered to a sterling silver backplate. The bezel is solid 14k gold that I rolled out as well. This stunning Royston turquoise is a real winner and deserved to be set in 14k. I gave it a soft matte finish. Any minor imperfections or irregularities are a testament to the handmade nature of this piece :).
Measurements: Band is a bit wider than 2mm at the back and widens to 5mm at the split. The stone face is 11/16" tall and 1/2" wide. and 2mm thick. Measures size 8.25.
