Great big ovals of Sonoran Gold turquoise make a fabulous set of chunky studs. Set on top of 3 levels of meticulously cut, filed and polished sterling, these have dimension and distinction. It is a labor of love to make this layered design. It is a practice in repetition, precision and an inexplicable pursuit of a certain look and feel. The slender silver steps give a depth, an appealing curve of light that frames the stones just so. These lovely stones deserved a setting like this. I'll send a great big pair of 10mm sterling earring backs to fully support these babes. Sonoran Gold turquoise is from Northern Mexico. Made of sterling silver.
Measurements: Approximately 3/4" tall by 9/16" wide. Earring posts are made of 20 gauge sterling wire.
