Here's how these started: I melted scraps of silver down into big blobs. I rolled them over a dozen times through the rolling mill until they were nick chonky disks. I traced the design and then using a jeweler's saw, I cut the delicate design out. I then cut the disk into the final hoop shape, filed the edges smooth and soldered on the earring post. I left the raw, slightly cracked outer edges because I like how that shows the silver was was rolled from scrap. The pair you receive will be cast from my original hand-sawn design.
