EARRINGS FOR A CAUSE hubei turquoise + silver hoops
IN HONOR OF MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY, ALL PROCEEDS OF THIS PAIR OF LUMENROSE HOOPS WILL BE DONATED TO THE AFRICAN AMERICAN POLICY FORUM. The AAPF is the originator of the #SAYHERNAME movement to honor black women and girls who've been killed by police violence. The AAPF is "a social justice think tank that utilizes new ideas and innovative perspectives to transform public discourse and policy on race and social justice concerns. We bring together academics, policy makers, artists, politicians, activists and stakeholders to promote frameworks and strategies that address a vision of racial justice that embraces the intersections of race, gender, class, and the array of barriers that serve to disempower those who are marginalized in society. We are dedicated to advancing and expanding racial justice, gender equality, and the indivisibility of all human rights".
Measurements: Approximately 2 5/8" long from the top of the stone to the base of the hoop. The hoop has a width of 1 5/8". Ear posts are made of 18 gauge wire.
Add a little splash of color to your daily hoop earrings! These stones feature a meandering matrix to accent the soft green colors. Made of recycled silver. The stud back stays securely in place with a simple eyelet closure crafted right into the hoop.
* These are intentionally shaped more oval than round, since I have found that they look and hang the best when shaped this way :) *
Earrings come in a hand-sewn drawstring gift bag made out of repurposed fabrics or an eco-friendly gift box.
