lavender turquoise + cochise beardtongue necklace
lavender turquoise + cochise beardtongue necklace
Measurements: The pendant is 2" wide by 3/4" tall. Necklace is 17.5" long.
If you are not familiar with beardtongue and penstemon flowers, they are similar to snapdragons and there are a number of varieties native to the Southwest and other parts of the US and North America. They have a distinctly tubular, bell-like shape. This necklaces is representational of the Cochise Beardtongue, a relatively rare plant that I have found near our property (well, I think I've found- there is a very similar, less rare Beardtongue in our region too). The natural Lavender turquoise is not too far off in color from the actual flower. The necklace is made out of recycled silver, except the chain.
Necklace comes in a hand-sewn drawstring gift bag made out of repurposed fabrics or an eco-friendly gift box.
