I designed these earrings as bold studs meant to be 100% comfortable and 200% badass. I put a call out to Instagram about what these should be named. "Shield Maiden" came back as the perfect winner. Shield Maidens are female warriors in Scandinavian folklore. The name couldn't fit better. The shield-like shape and the sizable stones make for total power earrings. The natural Cheyenne turquoise is from Nevada and I buy it directly from the miner. Made out of sterling silver.
