I designed these earrings as bold studs meant to be 100% comfortable and 200% badass. I put a call out to Instagram about what these should be named. "Shield Maiden" came back as the perfect winner. Shield Maidens are female warriors in Scandinavian folklore. The name couldn't fit better. The shield-like shape and the sizable stones make for total power earrings. A little floral touch adds something of the feminine. The turquoise is from Chile and has been stabilized, meaning it was treated to brighten the color and enhance its durability. Made out of sterling silver.
Earrings come in a hand-sewn drawstring gift bag made out of repurposed fabrics or an eco-friendly gift box.
