This slender 14k gold ring features a salt and pepper diamond with unique clouds and specks and a luminous quality that makes it completely one-of-a-kind. It is champagne colored in most light, smoky in low light.
The gold I alloyed into 14k from reclaimed gold jewelry and fabricated it into the components for this ring.
Regarding the diamond's source, here is what the seller told me: "From mines in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Kimberley Compliant. Polished at our certified fair trade factory in Surat, India."
It is a lovely band to wear solo or stacked. May I suggest this would be the perfect engagement ring?...Here it is pictured on its own as well as layered with other bands in mixed metals. The stone is raised slightly above the plane of the band (see photos) to allow for easy stacking.
Any minor imperfections or irregularities are a testament to the handmade nature of this piece :).
Measurements: The band is approximately 1.5mm wide and 1.5mm thick. The stone setting is 5mm across. .45 carat diamond. Measures size 5.75.
