I designed these earrings as bold studs meant to be 100% comfortable and 200% badass. I put a call out to Instagram when I first made this design over a year ago to ask what they should be named. "Shield Maiden" came back as the perfect winner. Shield Maidens are female warriors in Scandinavian folklore. The shield-like shape and sizeable stones make for total power earrings. A little botanical touch adds something of the feminine. The variscite is from Australia. Made of sterling silver.
There is a hairline surface crack running across one of the stones, hence the discount. It is totally secure, but please as with any jewelry, avoid dropping on hard surfaces!
Measurements: Approximately 1 3/4" tall by 1" wide. Post is 20 gauge sterling wire.
