Sonia is the founder of Awakened Love Warrior, a company whose aim is
"curating, designing and creating products, workshops and events that celebrate our difference and promote compassionate action, equity and justice".

I met Sonia over 8 years ago when I was a student in her 6am yoga classes in the Bay Area. Her sweet, sweet spirit shone brightly in those pre-dawn hours and created the most lovely presence to greet the day. Realizing we both had an educational background in social welfare, we connected over this initially, and have kept in touch over time.

Awakened Love Warrior is the home for Sonia's various talents expressed through the multiple facets of her business. Let me break it down for you, as this powerful lady has a LOT to offer!

Sonia has her very own line of handcrafted jewelry. She uses fabrication, stone-setting, fold forming and casting techniques. I cannot believe her silver geometric rings haven't been snatched up yet! This beautifully carved lost wax ISIS ring and her North Ring are so good. I can't wait to see what Sonia comes up with as she continues to explore her metalsmithing voice.

Spiritually Speaking is the name of Sonia's blog where she writes with an astute lens about racism, spirituality, parenting and so much more. Sign up for her email list to get notifications about new blog posts.

Sonia has a begun holding workshops on cultivating real life anti-racism practices. Her upcoming session has sold out, but I am guessing there will be more workshops to come.
