The 14k gold collection lands in the shop today, November 16 at 6pm MST!

It's been slow and steady in the making of this collection. Between a new torch, a new-ish material (the 14k) and a few out of town trips, it's been stop and go. I have worked with small amounts of 14k here and there in the past, but this time the primary metal in most of the collection is 14k . (All pieces have a tiny bit of silver, mostly as the backplate behind the stone). I am currently getting my bearings with the Smith Little Torch propane/oxygen setup and damn, is that a hot torch. The flame is minuscule compared to the Smith Silversmith torch (what I learned on and my favorite torch still) but extremely hot, so there were more than a couple melted gold bezels.
.
All in all everything came together nicely and I am excited to present some shiny, sparkly gold jewelry to you. It all still has the Lumenrose look - simple, elegant and clean- but the gold is a little next level ;). Plus the color palette is one I'm really liking: lavender, peach and garnet. I've selected my highest quality Golden Hills Lavender turquoise and the last of my peach moonstones. This will be the last time for a while I'll be creating jewelry with those two stones.
